Our 12 step cleaning process is designed to restore your furniture as close to its original condition as possible and to protect it from future soiling and staining. We can clean all types of upholstery, even the most delicate of fabrics.
- Pre-Inspection – We will examine the furniture to determine the fiber content, fabric type, level of soiling and test the fabric for colorfastness. This will determine what type of cleaning solutions and techniques will be used. We will also point out any potential permanent stains, or pre-existing conditions or areas of concern.
- Area Preparation – We will prepare the area where the upholstery will be cleaned to protect your surrounding furnishings and flooring.
- Pre-Vaccum – Your furniture will be vacuumed thoroughly before cleaning. This step removes dry soils, dust and dander. We also vacuum the crevices.
- Preconditioning – The appropriate preconditioning solution for your fabric type and soiling condition will be applied to “emulsify” the soil.
- Pre-treating spots – Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of their removal.
- Agitation – The preconditioner will then be gently agitated through the fabric using soft upholstery brushes to loosen the soil.
- Soil Extraction – The soil is then rinsed and extracted from the fabric using our special upholstery cleaning tools.
- Fabric Protection and Ph Neutralizer – At this point, we apply the fabric protection. This will help you to keep your upholstery clean longer, resist stains and your upholstery will last longer saving you money. - Post Grooming – The upholstery will then be prepared for drying with a gentle brushing of the fabric.
- Speed Dry – High velocity air movers will be placed on the upholstery to speed dry the fabric.
- Post Cleaning Inspection – We will inspect the cleaning results to insure that everything looks its best after the drying process. If any touch ups are needed we will do them now before we are finished.
- Post Cleaning Review – After we are finished we will review your freshly cleaned upholstery with you to insure that you are delighted with the cleaning results.
